Regulation 1 - Short title and commencement - Warehouse (Custody and Handling of Goods) Regulations, 2016

GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF FINANCE DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE (CENTRAL BOARD OF EXCISE AND CUSTOMS) Notification No. 68/2016- Customs (N.T.) New Delhi, the 14th May, 2016 G.S.R 515 (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 157 read with section 57 , section 58 and sub-section (2) of Section 73A of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the following regulations, namely:- 1. Short title and commencement. (1) These regulations may be called as the Warehouse (Custody and Handling of Goods) Regulations, 2016. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
