Regulation 1 - Short title and commencement - Foreign Exchange Management (Transfer Or Issue of Any Foreign Security) Regulations, 2000

Has been superseded vide Notification No. 120/2004 dated 7/7/2004 Notification No. 19/2000-RB, (Part-II), and (Part-III) In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (3) of section 6 and section 47 of the Foreign Exchange Management Act 1999, (42 of 1999), the Reserve Bank of India makes the following regulations relating to transfer or issue of any foreign security by a person resident in India, namely : 1. Short title and commencement (i) These Reglations may be called the Foreign Exchange Management (Transfer or Issue of any Foreign Security) (Amendment) Regulations, 2004. (ii) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
