Application by specified intermediary or other entity 7. Every specified intermediary or other entity shall make an application in accordance with 1 [sub-regulation (1) or sub-regulation (2), as the case may be, of regulation 12] to the Designated Service Provider for allotment of unique identification numbers for itself and for its related persons. ********** 1 Substituted for sub-regulation (1) of regulation 12 by the SEBI (Central Database of Market Participants) (Amendment) Regulations, 2004, vide S.O.
