Rule 1 - Short title and commencement - Income Tax Appellate Tribunal Members (Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 1963

No.1265 : In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, the President hereby makes the following rules regulating the recruitment and conditions of service of persons appointed as members of the Income-tax Appellate Tribunal, namely:- . 1. Short title and commencement:- (1) These rules may be called the Income-tax. Appellate Tribunal Members (Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 1963; (2) Rule 4 shall come into force at once, rule 3 shall be deemed to have come into force on 1 st day of 1 st day of April, 1962 and the remaining rules shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1 st day of September, 1960.
