2024 (1) TMI 327 - SCH - Indian LawsGranting payment of revised rates to take care of escalated cost of work executed by the claimant and the work executed beyond the originally stipulated time i.e., 6.5.1992 - It was held by High Court that the arbitrator s award being patently illegal, unreasonable, contrary to public policy, the Court below exercising the power under Section 34(2) of the Act is sustainable. At any stretch of imagination, it cannot be construed as mere re-appreciation of evidence. HELD THAT - The appeal is allowed in terms of the signed reportable judgment.
The Supreme Court of India allowed the appeal in terms of the signed reportable judgment pronounced by Hon'ble Mr. Justice Sanjay Karol and Hon'ble Mr. Justice Abhay S. Oka. Pending application(s), if any, shall stand disposed of.
