HB Vol.1 - EO Extension - DES - QBAL PUBLIC NOTICE NO.44 (RE-99)/1997-2002 Dated:15.12.1999 In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002, as notified in the Gazette of India extraordinary, Part-II- Section 3 - Sub- section (ii) vide S.O No. 283(E) dated 31.3.97, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendment/correction in the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1) (RE-99), 1997-2002. 1. The description of items under the Product Group: Plastics in respect of entries at S.No.8 to 15 in Appendix- 28A of Handbook (Vol.1) shall be corrected to read as under: 8 Articles made solely of ABS not elsewhere specified, and not specifically covered under Standard Input Output Norms. 20.00 9 Articles made solely of HDPE not elsewhere specified, and not specifically covered under Standard Input Output Norms. 20.00 10 Articles made solely of LDPE not elsewhere specified, and not specifically covered under Standard Input Output Norms. 20.00 11 Articles made solely of Nylon 6 not elsewhere specified, and not specifically covered under Standard Input Output Norms. 20.00 12 Articles made solely of Nylon 66 not elsewhere specified, and not specifically covered under Standard Input Output Norms. 20.00 13 Articles made solely of Polycarbonate not elsewhere specified, and not specifically covered under Standard Input Output Norms. 20.00 14 Articles made solely of Polypropylene not elsewhere specified, and not specifically covered under Standard Input Output Norms. 20.00 15 Articles made solely of Polystyrene not elsewhere specified, and not specifically covered under Standard Input Output Norms. 20.00 1. The description of DEPB entry no. 116 of Product Group Chemicals as appearing in Appendix- 28A shall be corrected to read as "Auramine O 200% (WS) Auramine OH, Basic Yellow - 2 (Assay not less than 95%) (C.I No.41000). 2. The description of DEPB entry no. 73 of Product Group "Engineering" as appearing in Appendix- 28A shall be corrected to read "High tensile precision fasteners Cold/Hot Forged Bolts/Screws/Nuts- all varieties. 3.The description of DEPB entry no. 316 of Product Group "Engineering" as appearing in Appendix- 28A shall be amended to read as "Light Commercial vehicle of GVW upto 7.5 MT in CBU/SKD/CKD condition" Corrigendum (a) The S.No. 585 and 586 of Engineering product in paragraph 5 of the Public Notice No.35 dated 15.10.99 shall be corrected to read as S.No.586 and 587. (b) The S.No. 975 and 976 of chemical product in paragraph 6 of the Public Notice No.35dated 15.10.99 shall be corrected to read as S.No.976 and 977. This issues in public interest.
