Connector, Kolkata- 700 107 Phone No. 2441-6842/6797 : Fax No. 2441-6834/6798 CENTRAL EXCISE TRADE NOTICE NO. 1/2014 DATED 29.09.2014 Subject : Geographical jurisdiction of Commissionerates along with Divisions and Ranges under each Commissionerate within Kolkata Zone (Central Excise Service Tax) regarding Attention of the trade, public and others concerned is invited to the Govt. of India, Ministry of Finance Notification No. 27/2014-CentralExcise (N.T.) dated 16.09.2014 where under the jurisdiction of Principal Chief Commissioner of Central Excise, Commissionerates of Central Excise, Commissionerates of Audit (Central Excise), Commissioner of Central Excise(Appeals and Commissioner (Large Taxpayer Unit), Kolkata were specified. For the convenience of the trade, industry and administration, the jurisdiction of each Commissionerate, Division and Range under Kolkata Central Excise Service Tax Zone are enlisted in the Annexure- A to L to this Trade Notice. All the Central Excise Assesses, registered Dealers and Service Tax Assesses (Composite Commissionerates) of a given area will now be under control of the Commissionerate / Division /Range having its jurisdiction over the said area. This trade notice is being issued to make the Trade, Industry and all concerned ready for the ensuing changes in the administration of this department.
