Attention of Trade Industry is invited to the Trade Notice No. 1/Service Tax/96, dated 1-11-1996, regarding imposition of Service Tax on Services rendered by Advertising Agency, Courier Agency, Paging Services. The Service Tax in respect of the above mentioned Agencies is to be deposited in one of the authorised banks set to be selected by the Agencies Banks by filling TR-6 challan form (yellow colour) under the Major head 0044. The Accounting Code Nos. are to be mentioned in TR-6 challans against Tax paid on Advertising, Courier Paging Services. The Accounting Code Nos. allotted to Advertising, Courier, Paging Services are as under.
