(079) 26301813 TRADE NOTICE NO. 2/2015 SUB:-Roll out of SEVOTTAM in the Service Tax Commissionerate, Ahmedabad-Regarding In continuation of earlier Trade Notice No.04/2012, dt. 17/12/2012 , Trade Notice No. 21/2013 dt. 25/09/2013, Trade Notice No. 07/2014 dt. 25/08/2014 Trade Notice No. 15/2014 the following amendment has been made in respect of nomination of Nodal Officer and Help-Desk officers for implementation of Sevottam in the Service Tax Commissionerate, Ahmedabad. 2 The Trade Associations/Chambers of Commerce and the members of the RAC/PGRC of this Commissionerate are being informed that this Commissionerate has been selected by Central Board of Excise and Customs, New Delhi as one of the Commissionerate to implement SEVOTTAM , a project of Directorate of Personal and Traning, and is being monitored by Central Board of Excise Customs for its successful implementation. 3. Shri A.S. Mall, Assistant Commissioner, Service Tax, Ahmedabad has been nominated as Nodal Officer for implementation of SEVOTTAM and maintaining the Quality Management System in the Service Tax Commissionerate, Ahmedabad. 4. As a part of implementation of SEVOTTAM , Dak and Acknowledgement Counter has been exclusively created at the 2 nd Floor, Central Excise Bhavan, Nr. Polytechnic, Ambawadi, Ahmedabad-380015, in order to receive and acknowledge the letters of the citizens/ assesses addressed to Hqrs, Service Tax, Ahmedabad. 5. Staff has been posted at the Dak and Acknowledgement Counter for issuance of Manual acknowledgement now and Computer generated Acknowledgement within a short span. All daks so received at Dak and Acknowledgement Counter will be distributed to the concerned branches of Service Tax Commissionerate, Ahmedabad and all branches of Division office, immediately. 6. Help Desk has also been set up at the 1st Floor, Central Excise Bhavan, Ambawadi, Ahmedabad for facilitation of the trade/public/Citizen. In case of any difficulty/doubt, trade/public falling under the jurisdiction of Service Tax Commissionerate, Ahmedabad, may contact the officers posted at the Help Desk. The said Help Desk will remain open on all working days during the office hours. For sustained service delivery CBEC has put in place a system for Customers Grievance Redressal and Information Feedback. (Feed-back forms are also available at the Help Desk to offer valuable suggestions for improvement of the new set up.) 8. All the trade/ public/Citizen are advised to contact the Nodal Officer in case of any difficulty/grievances relating to Dak and Acknowledgement Counter Help Desk or CPGRAMS system of grievance redressal can be used by logging in to http://pgportal.gov.in to submit the grievance. 9. All the Trade Associations/ Chambers of Commerce and the members of the RAC/PGRC are requested to bring / publicize the contents of this Trade Notice amongst their Members/Constituents for their information and necessary action.
