Attention of all the Exporters/CHAs/Shipping Agents and all other concerned is invited to Para 4 of Public Notice No. 58/2006 dated 27.11.2006 wherein the procedure for amendment of EGM has been prescribed. During the trade facilitation meeting, it was pointed out by the trade that the EGM amendment by AC/Export causes time/travel cost related to transaction from Docks to Custom House and back. In view of the above, the matter has been re-examined. Accordingly, in order to facilitate expeditious disposal of cases related to EGM amendment, the powers for amendment as given in aforesaid Public Notice No. 58/2006, shall be exercised by AC/DC Docks, as AC/Exports with immediate effect. The earlier Public Notice No. 5812006 dated 27.11.2006 has been modified to above extent. All concerned are requested to take note of the above. (K.
