APPRAISING (DOCKS) F. No. S 23 / 147 / 2017 - AP (Docks) Dated: 27.11.2018 NOTICE Sub: Visakhapatnam Custom House e - SANCHIT Facility - obligatory uploading of supporting documents - Reg. Attention of Importers, Exporters, Customs Brokers and Members of Trade is invited this office Public Notice No. 04/2018 dt. 31.01.2018 and 11/2018 dt. 08.03.2018 regarding the facility introduced in Visakhapatnam Custom House to upload digitally signed supporting documents in e-Sanchit which was mandatory to do so with effect from 15.03.2018. It is noticed that some of Importers, Exporters, Customs Brokers and Members of Trade are not using e-Sanchit and not uploading all the required documents for assessment and clearance of the imported and export cargo. Hence all de stake holders are requested to upload all the required documents in e-Sanchit for assessment and clearance of imported cargo and export cargo. It may be noted that the uploading of documents through e-sanchit is mandatory, failing which the Bills of Entry/shipping Bills will be rejected and suitable fine would be ASST.
