The trade and all concerned are hereby informed that consequent to the mutually agreed upon decisions taken in the 12 th Joint Group of Customs meeting between India and Bangladesh held on 8 th -9 th October, 2018, it has been decided to extend the Car Pass system to more Land Customs Stations in this Commissionerate viz. Manu LCS, Bholaganj LCS, Muhurighat LCS, Mahendraganj LCS and Mankachar LCS. The procedure for the Car Pass system has been prescribed earlier vide Facility No. 02/2011 dated 12.05.11, with further changes carried out by Public Notice No. 05/2013 dated 05.12.13, Facility No. 04/2015 dated 05.06.15 and Facility No. 05/2015 dated 04.08.15. The procedure as indicated in Facility No. 02/2011 dated 12.05.11 and Facility No. 04/2015 dated 05.06.15 will be required to be followed at the above mentioned LCSs. The operationalisation of the Car Pass System at the above mentioned LCSs may be initialised in view of the decision of the 12th India-Bangladesh JGC. (K. ASHI KHEIYA) COMMISSIONER
