VIII/09/11/2018-Cus.Tech Date: 18.12.2018 PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 46/2018-Customs Sub: Amendment of Vessel Name and Rotation Number in Shipping Bill - Reg. ***** Attention of all the Importers, Exporters, Customs Brokers, Steamer Agents, Custodians/ Customs Cargo Service Providers, Trade Associations / Chamber of Commerce, Members of the RAC/ PGC and the Public is invited on the above subject. 1. It has been brought to notice that Customs Brokers, Logistics Providers, Steamer Agents, Freight Forwarders and Exporters are approaching the Officers for amendment of Vessel Name / Rotation No. on the Shipping Bills. 2. In this regard, it is informed that such amendment is not required as the Vessel Name / Rotation No. gets automatically picked up from the Export General Manifest and amends the same in the system. 3. Hence, it is hereby brought to the attention of all stakeholders concerned that such amendment of Vessel Name / Rotation No. on the Shipping Bills is not required henceforth. 4. Action to be taken in terms of decisions taken in this Public Notice should be considered as Standing Order for the purpose of officers and staff. 5.
