Attention of all Customs Brokers, Exporters, Importers, Members of the Trade and stake holders is invited to Broker s Circular No. 09/2019-Customs dated 28.02.2019 issued vide File F. No. 450/26/2019-Cus IV, on the above cited subject. 2. India is presently ranked 80 in the Trading Across Borders' category of the World Banks Ease Doing Business (EODB) Index rankings 2019. Board's Circular No. 09/2019-Customs dated 28.02019 inter alia states the next target of Government is to be in the top 50 of the EODB ranking in this category and the efforts in this direction are spearheaded by the CBIC by the introduction of next generation reform aptly named Turant Customs. This reform is a comprehensive package pf various elements that would be implemented from to time in the next few months.
