No.: IV(16) Hqrs/Tech/Jal/Bond/09/2015/1340 Dated: 07/08/2015 Trade Notice No. 07/CE/JaI/2015 Subject: Export Procedure- Designation of Deputy/Assistant Commissioner of central Excise (Export)-reg. Attention of the Trade and all concerned is invited to the Board Circular No 500/66/99-CX dated 15.12.1999, wherein, in para 3(1), it has been specified that any merchant-exporter/manufacturer-cum-merchant-exporter can file a Bond under Rule 13(1)(a) or a General Bond under Rule 14 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944 with the designated Deputy/Assistant Commissioner of Central Excise(Export) under whose jurisdiction his Head Office/factory is located (within the jurisdiction of the Commissionerate) and after executing Bond with the designated Deputy/Assistant Commissioner of Central Excise(Export) a merchant exporter can procure goods from anywhere in India. In this respect, the following Jurisdictional Authorities have been designated as the Deputy/Assistant Commissioner of Central Excise (Export) for the above said purpose in their respective jurisdictions. Jurisdictional authority Jurisdictional Area Deputy/Assistant Commissioner of Central Excise Service Tax Division Amritsar Area under the jurisdiction of Central Excise Service Tax Division Amritsar Deputy/Assistant Commissioner(Tech ) Central Excise Commissionerate Jalandhar Cam at Ludhiana Area under the jurisdiction of Central Excise Service Tax Division-I,II Jalandhar and Phagwara Henceforth, in this Commissionerate, if any merchant exporter/manufacturer-cum- merchant-exporter is to procure excisable goods from the manufacturers located anywhere in India, can file Bond with the designated Deputy/Assistant Commissioner of central Excise(Export) under whose jurisdiction the Head Office/factory of the exporter falls.
