Kind attention is invited to the Notification No. 17/2009-ST dated 07-07-2009 issuing necessary guidelines for filing of claims for Service Tax refund. The para 2(b) and 2(c) of the said notification may kindly be referred. 2. For the facilitation of the trade, it is hereby clarified that the persons/ entity/Merchant Exporter intending to file refund claim of service tax other than as mentioned in para2(b) of the said notification and having their registered office or Head Office situated in the area falling in the District of Rajkot/Jamnagar/Kutch may file their service tax refund claims with the Assistant Commissioner/ Deputy Commissioner of Central Excise, Service Tax Division, Rajkot. 3. All the Trade Associations/ Chamber of Commerce and the members of the RAC/PGRC are requested to bring / publicize the contents of this Trade Notice amongst their Members/ Constituents for their information and necessary action.
