GST Facilitation Centre for Small Businesses - GST - GST. Trade Notice No. 01/2018

Trade Notice No. 01/2018 Sub : GST Facilitation Centre for Small Businesses - Regarding. A 'GST Facilitation Centre for Small Businesses' has been specially created in the Trichy GST and Central Excise Commissionerate. The Facilitation Centre is functional from No. 1, Williams Road, Cantonment, Trichy - 1. 2. Using the 'Facilitation Centre', GST registered small businesses [manufacturers, service providers and traders, whose annual aggregate turnover is less than Rs.I.5 Crore], can fulfill the compliance requirements, i.e., Tax Payment and Return Filing, free of cost. 3. The Facilitation Centre is equipped with two computers (with 17 processors), internet connection at a speed of 100 Mbps and other basic amenities. The Facilitation Centre is located in the ground floor of the building, so that GST registrants can have easy access. To use the 'Facilitation Centre', GST Registrants have to obtain prior appointment from the Asst. Commissioner (GST Policy), Trichy GST Central Excise Commissionerate. 4. To obtain prior appointment, GST Registrants may please write an email [[email protected]], quoting their GSTIN Number (GST Registration Number) and Aadhaar Number or any other identity proof, of the visitor. On receipt of the request from the GST Registrant, Asst. Commissioner (GST Policy) will verify the GST Registration Number, allot an appointment for use of the Facilitation Centre and communicate the same, by email. If any technical guidance / assistance are required for filing a Return, the same may also be specifically mentioned in the email, so that the services of an officer will be made available in the Facilitation Centre. 5. Maih objective of the Facilitation Centre is to minimise the compliance cost for the taxpayers. GST Registered Small Businesses are requested to use the Facilitation Centre, to fulfill the GST compliance requirements. 6. The Industry and Trade Associations / Chambers of Commerce are requested to bring the contents of this Trade Notice, to the attention of all their members.
