Attention of all concerned exporters is drawn to Public Notice No. 22/2015 dated 07.12.2015 wherein it was informed to the trade to produce pending BRCs for all Shipping Bills with LEO dates from 01.04.2013 to 31.03.2014 so as to update the data in the BIRC Module of the ICES. 2. Consequent to the said Public Notice, it is noticed that a large number of BRC's are yet to be submitted by the exporter. The detailed list of shipping bills for which BRC/ negative statements have still not been submitted as per the system data in respect of shipping bills whose Let Export Order date is falling between 01.04.2013 and 31.03.2014 is again published in the Customs Bangalore website www.bangalorecustoms.gov.in. The said list has been generated on completion of entries of all the BRCs/ negative statements / CA certificates submitted till date. 3. Further, it is seen that many of the BRCs/ Negative statements/ CA/ AD certificates submitted till date, are found deficient due to errors with specific reference to AD codes. The Exporters are requested to resubmit the relevant certificates with correct AD Codes. In this connection, it is once again impressed upon the trade that para 4 of Circular 05/2009- Customs dated 02.02.2009, prescribes, along with BRCs, the option of submitting certificates from Chartered Accountant / Authorised dealer(s) - AD-wise at each port for each of the six-monthly certificates. 4. All the concerned Exporters are hereby requested to submit the BRCs/ Negative statements as per the Circular No. 05/2009 Customs dated 02.02.2009 , along with the correct AD Codes for making entries in the System, not later than 24.02.2016 so as to enable this office to update the data in the BRC module of the ICES. 5. In case of any difficulty, the trade may meet Smt. C.V. Savitha, Superintendent of Customs, Drawback Section, ICD, (Telephone No. 9845536698 who is the Nodal Officer to receive the said BRCs / Negative statements or Shri. H.N. Divakaran, Assistant Commissioner of Customs, (Drawback) (Telephone No. 9986016307) for further enquiry or solution to their difficulty. 6. All the concerned Exporters are requested to take note of the above for suitable compliance by submitting the BRCs/ negative statements within the stipulated date, failing which appropriate action available under the Customs Act, 1962 will be initiated to recover the drawback amount sanctioned along with interest.
