No. S34M-163/16 (DBK) Dated: 09.08.2016 PUBLIC NOTICE NO- 68/2016 Subject: Drawback Pendency Clearance Drive- Reg. It is hereby brought to the notice of Exporters who avail benefits of Drawback Scheme that a large number of Drawback claims are pending for want of replies from the Exporters. Officers had raised queries in the EDI system and the Exporters have not replied to these queries. The Department can process their claims only after suitable replies to the queries are submitted by the Exporters. The Department has launched a special pendency clearance drive upto 30.09.2016 for Drawback Shipping Bills. The Exporters may log into the ICEGATE website i.e. icegate.gov.in to get the details regarding status for the Shipping Bill including whether a query has been raised. Exporters may submit reply in the EDI system and may submit hard copies of the documents to the Deputy/Assistant Commissioner, Drawback. The Exporter should also submit the BRC, wherever BRC realization date is over. A list of the pending Drawback claims for query reply is enclosed herewith. Kindly note if the Exporters do not respond, then their claims will be settled on the basis of available information.
