No. S/3-Misc-122/2016-17/l00% EOD ACC Date: 18.08.2016 PUBLIC NOTICE NO.:31/2016 Sub: Removal of mandatory warehousing requirements for EOUs, STPIs, EHTPs etc. Amendment to Notification 52/2003-Customs dated 31.03.2003 Kind Attention of the members of Trade/Importers is invited to the Notification No. 44/2016 Custom dated 29.07.2016 and Circular No. 3512016 Customs dated 29.07.2016 issued by Central Board of Excise and Customs, Department of Revenue, Ministry of finance, New Delhi regarding removal of mandatory warehousing requirements for EOUs, STPIs, EHTPs etc. Amendment to Notification 52/2003-Customs dated 31.03.2003. In view of the condition of warehousing having been dispensed with, the following procedure will now be followed at 100%EOU Section, A.C.c. Sahar (1) BIE for Home Consumption to be filed instead of warehousing BIE, hence, no Ex-Bond SIB shall be filed. (2) A new single Procurement Certificate (P.c.) register will now be maintained instead of the previous three registers maintained. (3) Procurement Certificate(P.c.) to be defaced by the AO/Supt. in the EOU section. . (4) The guidelines contained ill para 4 of the circular No. 35/2016 Customs dated 29.07.2016 regarding provision of Notification 52/2003-Customs dated Jl.OJ.200J,FTP,HBP and other applicable notifications will be adhered to. (5) This Public Notice shall come into effect from 18.08.2016. (6) Difficulty, if any faced in the implementation of this Public Notice may be brought to the notice of the under signed immediately.
