I Date:- 06.09.2019 Public Notice No. 21/2019-20 Subject: Waiver off late filing charges due to heavy rain on 04.09.2019-reg. Attention of Importers, Custodians, Customs Brokers and Stake Holders is invited to late fee charges leviable in terms of CBIC Notification 26/2017 dated 31.03.2017. 2. As Mumbai city Suburbs experienced heavy rainfall on 4th September, 2019 because of which normal life was disrupted. Accordingly, considering the impact of heavy rainfall and difficulties faced by the trade members due to natural calamity, the late fee for one day i.e. 04.09.2019 which become payable due to non-filing of Bills of entry on the day is waived off. 3. The concerned Groups AC/DC will take the necessary action in such cases accordingly without submitting the same to ADC/JC (Import).
