No. VIII /09/02/2019-Cus.TFC Date: 06.09.2019 PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 26/2019-cus Sub / IGST Export Refunds week from 09.09.2019 to 21.09.2019 - Rectification of Invoice Mismatch [SB005], GSTN Number Mismatch [SB003], EGM Stuffing errors [SB002], Mismatch in Shipping Bill details [SB001], Gateway EGM Error [SB006] -Reg. Attention of all the Importers, Exporters, Customs Brokers, Steamer Agents, Custodians/ Customs Cargo Service Providers, Trade Associations /Chamber of Commerce, Members of the RAC/ PGC and the Public is invited on the above subject. 2. CBIC has issued circulars 05/2018-Customs, dated 23.02.2019, 08/2018-Customs, dated 23.03.2018, 15/2018-Customs, dated 06.06.2018 and 40/2018-Customs, dated 24.10.2018, wherein an alternative mechanism with an officer interface to resolve invoice mismatches [SB005 error] was provided for the Shipping Bills filed till 15.11.2018. 3. Despite wide publicity and outreach programmes to make exporters aware about the need to have identical details in invoices given in Shipping Bills and GST Returns, it has been observed that a few exporters continue to commit such errors. Therefore, in view of the recent announcement by Hon'ble Finance Minister, giving high priority to the interests of exporters, it has been decided by the Board to extend the rectification facility for all cases covered under Circular 40/2018-Customs dated 24.10.2018 to Shipping Bills filed up to 31.07.2019. 4. This Commissionerate is organising IGST Refunds Week from 09.09.2019 to 21.09.2019 to clear the pendency of IGST Refunds as well as organising Outreach Programme to make all stakeholders aware bout the correct procedure for claiming IGST refunds so that repeated errors are avoided /minimised during the same period. Trade and Exporters/Importers may utilise the outreach programme to ease of their problems. 5. All the members of the Regional Advisory Committee, Trade and Industry Associations are requested to circulate the public Notice among their constituent members for implementation and guidance. 6. Action to be taken in terms Of decisions taken in this Public Notice should be considered as Standing Order the purpose of officers and staff. 7.
