Attention of the importers, Custom Brokers, members of the trade and all other stake holders is invited to Board's Instruction No. 11/2020- Customs dated 10.07.2020 and Public Notice No. 43/2020 dated 22.05.2020 issued by this Commissionerate. 2. In the said Board's Instructions, reference to Circular dated 08.07.2020 issued vide F.NO. L-110102(1)/1/2018-Trade (E-7526) by the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying (DAHD) has been given. 3. The Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying (DAHD), vide above said Circular has, clarified as under:- considering unique and extraordinary situations in industry due to COVID-19 pandemic, confusion among stakeholders with respect to applicability Of veterinary health protocols as import requirements of milk and milk products and to minimize financial losses so as to facilitate Ease of Doing Business, DAI-ID has no objection for granting AQCS clearance for such consignments as one time relaxation measure for milk products brought under chapter 35 and 17 which are having date of lading as 30.04.2020 or before front exporting country subject to fulfilment of sanitary and hygienic certification. This clarificatory circular will not he considered and quoted as a precedent in future. 4. In view of the above, a new para '3.1' is being inserted just below para '3' of the Public Notice No. 43/2020 dated 22.05.2020, which reads as under:- Para 3.1 3.1 In view of the Circular dated 08,07.2020 issued by Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying vide F. No. L+110102(1)=/1/2018-Trade (E-7526), DAHD has no objection for granting AQCS clearance for such consignments as one time relaxation measure for milk products brought under chapter 35 and 17 are haring Airway Bill date as 30.04.2020 or before from exporting country subject to fuffilment of sanitary and hygienic certification. 5. Other contents of Public Notice No. 43/2020 dated 22.05.2020 remain unchanged. Public Notice No. 43/2020 dated 22.05.2020 stands amended to this extent. 6. All trade associations/members of Customs Brokers Association are requested to take note and publicize the contents or this Public Notice among their members/constituents. 7. For the departmental officers, this may be treated as Standing Order. 7.
