Seeks to amend the notification No. 1/2009-Cus(ADD) dt 2.1.2009 - 06/2014 - Anti Dumping Duty

[TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA, EXTRAORDINARY, PART II, SECTION 3, SUB-SECTION (i)] GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF FINANCE (DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE) Notification No. 06/2014-Customs (ADD) New Delhi, dated the 23nd January, 2014 G.S.R. 48(E) .-Whereas, the designated authority vide notification No. 15/29/2013-DGAD dated the 31st December 2013, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part I, Section 1, dated the 31st December 2013, has initiated review, in terms of sub-section (5) of section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975) read with rule 23 of the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and Collection of Anti-dumping Duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination of Injury) Rules, 1995 , in the matter of continuation of anti-dumping duty on Acrylonitrile Butadiene Rubber , originating in, or exported from Korea RP, imposed vide notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 01/2009-Customs, dated the 2nd January, 2009, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide G.S.R. 5(E), dated the 2nd January, 2009 , and has requested for extension of anti-dumping duty for a further period of one year, in terms of sub-section (5) of section 9A of the said Customs Tariff Act ; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (5) of section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975) read with rule 23 of the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and Collection of Anti-dumping Duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination of Injury) Rules, 1995 , the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 01/2009-Customs, dated the 2nd January, 2009, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide G.S.R. 5(E), dated the 2nd January, 2009 , namely: - In the said notification, after paragraph 2, the following shall be inserted, namely:- 3. Notwithstanding anything contained in paragraph 2, this notification shall remain in force upto and inclusive of the 1st day of January, 2015, with respect to anti-dumping duty on Acrylonitrile Butadiene Rubber originating in, or exported from Korea RP, unless revoked earlier .
