Area on Indo-Pak and Indo-Nepal borders vulnerable to smuggling specified - 50 - Customs -Tariff

Notification No. 50 Dated 27/03/1980 In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (c) of section 11H of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) , the Central Government, having regard to the vulnerability to smuggling of the area mentioned in the Schedule hereto annexed, hereby specifies the said area as specified area for the purposes of the said Act. THE SCHEDULE The inland area fifty kilometres in width from the India-Pakistan border in the territories of the States of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir and the Indo-Nepal border in the States of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and West Bengal.
