Amendment in Notification No. 63/94-CUSTOMS (NT), dated the 21st November, 1994 - 42/2016 - Customs - Non TariffExtract GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF FINANCE DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE (CENTRAL BOARD OF EXCISE AND CUSTOMS) NOTIFICATION No. 42/2016-CUSTOMS (NT) New Delhi, the 29th March, 2016 9 Chaitra Saka 1937-38 S.O. 1252 (E) - In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (b) and (c) of Sub - section (1) of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) , the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), number 63/94-CUSTOMS (NT), dated the 21st November, 1994, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) vide number S.O. 830 (E), dated the 21st November, 1994, namely:- In the said notification, - (A) in the opening paragraph, after the ninth proviso, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely : - “Provided also that Kakrawah is appointed as land customs station for the purpose of clearance of baggage, passenger vehicles and tourist vehicles.”; (B) In the said notification, in the TABLE, against serial number 6 relating to land frontier of Nepal, in column 3 after item (26) and the corresponding entry relating thereto in column (4), the following entry shall respectively be inserted, namely:- (1) (2) (3) (4) (27) Kakrawah, Siddharthnagar District, Uttar Pradesh Road connecting Kakrawah in Siddharthnagar District, Uttar Pradesh and Karidah in Nepal”. [F.No.552/01/2011-LC] (TEMSUNARO JAMIR) Under Secretary to the Government of India Note: - The Principal notification was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary Part-II Section 3, Sub-section (ii) vide notification number 63/94-CUSTOMS (NT) dated the 21stNovember, 1994 published vide number S.O. 830 (E), dated the 21st November, 1994 and last amended vide notification number 28/2016-Customs (NT), dated the 18th February, 2016 published vide number S.O.521 (E) dated the 18th February, 2016.
