Income-tax (Twenty-fifth Amendment) Rules, 1998 - S.O. 939(E) - Income Tax

MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Revenue) CENTRAL BOARD OF DIRECT TAXES NOTIFICATION NO. 10740 New Delhi, the 29th October, 1998 INCOME-TAX S.O. 939(E) .-In exercise of the powers conferred by section 295 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Board of Direct Taxes hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Income-tax Rules, 1962 , namely:- 1. (1) These rules may be called the Income-tax (Twenty-fifth Amendment) Rules, 1998. (2) They shall come into force on the 1 st day of November, 1998. 2. In the Income-tax Rules, 1962, in rule 114 B , in clause (b), the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:- Provided that for the purposes of this clause, the sale or purchase of a motor vehicle or vehicle does not include two wheeled vehicles, Inclusive of any detachable side-car having an extra wheel, attached to the motor vehicle , [F.
