Notification regrading Republic of Equatorial Guinea inserted in Part A - List of Embassies - No. F.5(54)Policy/VAT/2013/PF/750-61 - Delhi Value Added Tax

NOTIFICATION

Whereas, a notification No.  F.5(54)/Policy/VAT/2013/PF/205-216 dated 09.05.2017 was issued to amend the sixth schedule appended to the Delhi Value Added Tax Act, 2004 (Delhi Act 03 of 2005) whereby in Entry No.1, in Part-A- List of Embassies, after Sl.No. A-148, the following was inserted, namely:-

And whereas, the said notification was to take effect from the date of publication of the notification i.e. 09.05.2017.

And, whereas, I, H. Rajesh Prasad, Commissioner, Value Added Tax, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi, am of the opinion that it is expedient in the public interest to do so.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (2) of Section 103 of the Delhi Value Added Tax Act, 2004 (Delhi Act 03 of 2005), I hereby make the following amendments in Para V of the aforesaid notification dated: 09.05.2017.

The Para No. 5 of Notification No. F.5(54) /Policy/VAT/2013/PF/205-216 dated 09.05.2017 should be substituted with the words, commas & expression in the following manner:-

"This notification shall come into force with effect from 13 October 2016."
