Exemption u/s 35AC - Approves various institutions as an eligible project or scheme NOTIFICATION NO. S.O.617 ( E ) DATED 10-8-1992 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1), read with clause ( b ) of the Explanation to, section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government, on the recommendations of the National Committee, hereby approves the institutions specified in column (2) of the Table below and specifies the eligble projects and schemes and estimated cost thereof as mentioned in columns (3) and (4) respectively of the said Table. Shri Satguru Seva Sangh Trust of Bombay Eye Camps Project Estimated cost of the project is Rs. 60 lakhs. 2. Bharat Sewashtram Sangha, Calcutta (i) Leprosy Welfare Works, (ii) Backward class and Tribal Welfare Estimate cost of both the projects is Rs. 5 lakhs each. 3. Manovikas Kendra, Calcutta Rehabilitation Centre for handicapped Estimated cost of the project is Rs. 4 crores 2. This notification shall remain in force for a period of three years in relation to the assessment years 1993-94, 1994-95 and 1995-96. (Sd.)
