SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE BOARD OF INDIA NOTIFICATION Mumbai, the 23 rd March, 2009 No. LAD-NRO/GN/2008-09/35/157985.- In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (4) of Section 3 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992, the Board has established its Western Regional Office at Ahmedabad. The Western Regional Office so established shall look after the regulatory aspects of investor protection, market regulation, supervision regarding issuers, intermediaries and such other functions as may be delegated from time to time, and its role and responsibility shall extend to the areas falling under. the territorial jurisdiction of the States of Gujarat and Rajasthan.
