Renewal of recognition to Magadh Stock Exchange Association, Patna - S.O. No.1738(E) - SEBI/LE/55283/2005 - SEBI

SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE BOARD OF INDIA NOTIFICATION Mumbai, the 7 th December, 2005 S.O. No.1738(E).- The Securities and Exchange Board of India, having considered the application for renewal of recognition made under section 3 of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956 by Magadh Stock Exchange Association, having its registered office at 9th Floor, Ashiana Plaza, Budh Marg, Patna-800001 and being satisfied that it would be in the interest of the trade and also in the public interest so to do, hereby grants, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956 renewal of recognition to the said Exchange under section 4 of the said Act for a period of one year commencing on the 11th day of December 2005 and ending on the 10th day of December 2006, in respect of contracts in securities subject to the conditions stated hereinbelow or as may be prescribed or imposed hereinafter : (i) The Exchange shall not regulate or control the dealings in securities in any manner whatsoever until further directions as stated in the order No. WTM/GA/35/MIRSD/12/05, dated December 6, 2005.
