Housing Finance Ltd., 1st Floor, Kanchenjunga, 18, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi-110 001, has been approved by the Central Government as a Housing Finance Company for the purposes of section 36(1)( viii ) of the Income-tax Act, 1961, for the assessment years 1997-98 to 1999-2000. The approval is subject to the condition that the company will conform to and comply with the provisions of section 36(1)( viii ) of the Income-tax Act, 1961. [Notification No. 10518/F.
