Amendment in Export Policy of Personal Protection Equipment/Masks - 44/2015-2020 - Foreign Trade Policy

S.O. 487 (E) - In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 of the Foreign Trade (Development Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992), as amended, read with Para 1.02 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-20 , the Central Government hereby makes following amendment with immediate effect in the Schedule 2 of the ITC (HS) Export Policy 2018 . The following items are added: 2 [S. No. ITC HS Codes Description Present Policy 3 [ 207A 901850 901890 9020 392690 621790 630790 Following Personal Protection Equipments(PPEs) exported either as part of kits or as individual items 1.Medical Coveralls of all Classes/Categories 2.Medical Goggles 3.All masks other than non-medical/non-surgical masks(Cotton, Silk, Wool , Polyester, Nylon, Rayon, Viscose Knitted, Woven or Blended) 4. Nitrile/NBR Gloves 5. Face Shield Prohibited ] 2. The provisions as under para 1.05 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2015-20 regarding Transitional Arrangements are not available under this notification. 3. Effect of this Notification: Export of all varieties of personal protection equipment including Clothing and Masks used to protect the wearer from air borne particles and/or any other respiratory masks or any other personal protective clothing [Including Coveralls( Class 2/3/4) and N95 masks] under the above mentioned ITC HS Codes is hereby 'Prohibited' with immediate effect till further orders. Non-Woven Shoe covers (Disposable) 6. Breathing appliances used by Airmen, Divers, mountaineers or Firemen 7. Gas Masks with chemical absorbent for filtration against poisonous vapour, smoke, gases 8. HDPE Tarpaulin/Plastic Tarpaulin 9. PVC conveyor belt 10.Biopsy Punch Prohibited
