Exchange rates for export goods - Amendment to Notification No. 94/98-Cus. (N.T.) Notification No. 100/98-Cus. (N.T.) Dated 23-12-1998 In pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (2 of 1899) and sub-clause (i) of clause (a) of sub-section (3) of section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No. 94/98-NT-Cus., [S.O. 1007 (E)], dated 26th November, 1998, namely :- In the Schedule-I of the said Notification for serial No. 10 12 and Schedule-II of the said notification for serial No. 1 3 the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely :- Sl. No. Foreign Currency Rate of exchange of one unit of foreign currency equivalent to Indian rupees. 10 Pound Sterling 71.70 12. Swiss Franc 31.80 SCHEDULE-II Sl. No. Foreign Currency Rate of exchange of 100 units of foreign currency equivalent to Indian rupees. 1. Belgian Francs 124.90 3. Japanese Yen 36.80 This rate will be effective from 24th December, 1998.
