Appointment of Customs Officers - Amendment to Notification No. 250/83-Cus. Notification No. 46/93-Cus. (N.T.) Dated 24-9-1993 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No. 250/83-Customs, dated the 27th August, 1983, namely :- In the said notification, in the Table, after serial number 4 and entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be added, namely:- AREA DESIGNATION OF THE OFFICER 1 2 3 4 "5. States of Meghalaya, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. Collector of Customs (Preventive), Imphal. Deputy Collectors of Customs wor king under the control of the Collector of Cus toms (Preventive), Imphal. Assistant Collectors of Customs working under the control of the Collector of Customs (Preventive), Imphal."
