Transfer of Residence (Amendment) Rules, 1993 Notification No. 14/93-Cus. (N.T.) Dated 8-2-1993 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 79 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Transfer of Residence Rules, 1978, namely:- 1. (1) These rules may be called the Transfer of Residence (Amendment) Rules, 1993. (2) They shall come into force on the 9th day of February, 1993. 2. In the Transfer of Residence Rules, 1978, in rule 3, after serial No. 18 and the entry relating thereto, the following serial No. and entry shall be inserted, namely :- "19. Silver, in any form, other than ornaments.".
