Tourist Baggage (Amendment) Rules, 1991 Notification No. 52/91-Cus. (N.T.) Dated 25-7-1991 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 79 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Tourist Baggage Rules, 1978, namely: - 1. (i) These rules may be called the Tourist Baggage (Amendment) Rules, 1991. (ii) They shall come into force on the 25th day of July, 1991. 2. In the Tourist Baggage Rules, 1978, - (i) in rule 4, for the words "five hundred rupees", the words "six hundred rupees" shall be substituted. (ii) in rule 5, for the words "five hundred rupees", the words "six hundred rupees" shall be substituted.
