Amendment to Notification No. 40/89-Cus. (N.T.) - Exchange rate Notification No. 45/89-Cus. (N.T.) Dated 4-8-1989 In pursuance of sub-section (2) of Section 20 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (2 of 1899) and sub-clause (i) of clause (a) of sub-section (3) of Section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Deptt. of Revenue-No. 40/89-Non-Tariff Customs S.O. 489(E), dated 27th June, 1989 namely : In the Schedule below the said Notification for Serial No. 14 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) 14 Pound Sterling 3.6350 This rate will be effective from 7-8-1989.
