Appointment of Customs Officers - Amendment to Notification No. 251/83-Cus. Notification No. 20/89-Cus. (N.T.) Dated 25-4-1989 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 251/83-Customs, dated the 27th August, 1983 namely :- In the Table below the said notification, in item No. 1 and the entries relating thereto, the following entries shall be added, namely : — (1) (2) (3) (4) (c) The Port of Nhava Sheva and the Taluka of Panvel in the District of Raigad in the State of Maharashtra.
