Appointment of Customs Officers - amendment to Notification No. 251/83-Cus. Notification No. 27/88-Cus. (N.T.) Dated 22-4-1988 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 251/83-Customs, dated the 27th August, 1983, namely :- In the Table below the said notification, for Item No. 1 and the entries relating thereto, the following Item and entries shall be substituted, namely ;- 1 2 3 4 "1. Port of Bombay, Bombay Airport (Santacruz and Sahar (a) Airports), the area under the jurisdiction of the Bombay Municipal Corporation, and the designated areas in the Continental Shelf and Exclusive Economic Zone of India as declared by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of External Affairs No. S.0. 429 (E), dated the 18th July, 1986.
