Import against Advance/Value Based Advance Licence - Amendment to Notification Nos. 79/95-Cus, 80/95-Cus., 148/95-Cus., 149/95-Cus., 30/97-Cus., 31/97-Cus., 48/99-Cus., 34/97-Cus. and 77/98-Cus. Notification No. 121/99-Cus. Dated 4-11-1999 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table below in the corresponding manner as specified in column (3) of the said Table, namely :- TABLE Sl. Nos. (1), (2), (3), (4), (5), (6) and (7), - (3) (4) 148/95-Customs, dated the 19th September, 1995 149/95-Customs, dated the 19th September, 1995 (i) for the words "Tuticorin and Visakhapatnam" the words "Tuticorin, Visakhapatnam and Dehej" shall be substituted; (5) 30/97-Customs, dated the 1st April, 1997 (ii) for the words "Trivandrum and Varanasi", the words "Trivandrum, Varanasi, Nagpur and Cochin" shall be substituted; (6) 31/97-Customs, dated the 1st April, 1997 (7) 48/99-Customs, dated the 29th April, 1999 (iii) for the words "Surat, Tirupur and Varanasi", the words "Surat, Tirupur, Varanasi, Nasik, Rudrapur (Nainital), Dighi (Pune), Vadodara, Daulatabad (Wanjarwadi and Maliwada), Waluj (Aurangabad), Anaparthy (Andhra Pradesh), Salem, Malanpur, Singanalur, Jodhpur, Kota, Udaipur, Ahmedabad, Bhiwadi and Madurai or through the Land Customs Station at Ranaghat" shall be substituted. (8) 34/97-Customs, dated the 7th April, 1997 (iv) In condition of the notification mentioned in Column (2) of this Table against S. No. (8), - (i) for the words "Sikka and Pipavav", the words "Sikka, Pipavav and Dahej" shall be substituted; (ii) for the words "Chennai and Bhubaneshwar", the words "Chennai, Bhubaneshwar, Nagpur and Cochin" shall be substituted; (iii) for the words "Malanpur and Surat", the words "Malanpur, Surat, Nasik, Rudrapur (Nainital), Kota, Udaipur, Daulatabad (Wanjarwadi and Maliwada), Dighi (Pune), Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Bhiwadi, Madurai, Jalandhar and Meerut or through the Land Customs Station at Ranaghat" shall be substituted. (9) 77/98-Customs, dated the 16th October, 1998. In condition (viii) of the notification mentioned in Column (2) of this Table against S.No. (9), - (i) for the words "Tuticorin, and Visakhapatnam", the words "Tuticorin, Visakhapatnam and Dahej" shall be substituted; (ii) for the words "Trivandrum and Varanasi", the words "Trivandrum, Varanasi, Nagpur and Cochin" shall be substituted; (iii) for the words "Surat, Tirupur and Varanasi", the words "Surat, Tirupur, Varanasi, Nasik, Rudrapur (Nainital), Dighi (Pune), Vadodara, Daulatabad (Wanjarwadi and Maliwada), Waluj (Aurangabad), Anaparthy (Andhra Pradesh), Salem, Malanpur, Singanallur, Jodhpur, Kota, Udaipur, Ahmedabad, Bhiwadi and Madurai or through the Land Customs Station at Ranaghat" shall be substituted.
