Village Chavara declared Warehousing Station Notification No. 386/87-Cus. Dated 31-12-1987 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby declares Village Chavara in Karungappally Taluk of Quilon District in the State of Kerala to be a warehousing station for the purposes of setting up hundred per cent export-oriented units.
