Electrical machinery and equipments Notification No. 106/86-Cus. Dated 17-2-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts goods specified in column (2) of the Table annexed hereto and falling within Chapter 85 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), when imported into India, from so much of that portion of the duty of customs leviable thereon which is specified in the said First Schedule as is in excess of the amount calculated at the rate specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table. Complete wireless receivers required for permanent fitment on aircrafts (other than aeroplanes). 40 per cent ad valorem. 4. Wireless transmission apparatus and component parts of such apparatus (other than those parts containing thermionic valves or transistors or similar semi-conductor devices or light emitting diodes or electronic microcircuits or capacitors other than paper capacitors). 40 per cent ad valorem. 5. One set of pre-recorded cassette accompanying each film strip for educational purposes. Nil 6. Paper capacitors. 60 per cent ad valorem. 2. This notification shall come into force on the 28th day of February, 1986.
