Goods for Manufacture of Components of Fuel-Efficient motor cars Notification No. 354/85-Cus. Dated 5-12-1985 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 254/84-Customs, dated the 8th October, 1984, namely: — In the said notification, in the first paragraph, — (1) in the opening portion, the words "and two-wheeled motor vehicles" shall be omitted; (2) in condition (i), the words "and two-wheeled motor vehicles" shall be omitted; (3) in condition (iii), the words "and two-wheeled motor vehicles" and "and motor vehicles" shall be omitted; (4) in the Table, against S. No. 2, in column (2), in item (iv), the word "Flywheel Magnetos" shall be omitted; and (5) for the words and figures "Explanation I", the word "Explanation" shall be substituted, and Explanation II shall be omitted.
