De-notification of part of SEZ - a sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services at Raheja Infocity - Thane MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi , the 6th January,2010 S.O. 27(E).— Whereas M/s. K, Raheja Universal Private Limited, a fully private organisation of the State of Maharashtra, has proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005(28 of 2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the said Act ) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services at Raheja Infocity-II , Plot No. 2/1/C, Block-D. Trans-Thane Creek Industrial Area, MIDC, Village Bonsari, Kukshet and Shirvane, Opposite Juinagar Railway Station, Taluka-Thane; Navi Mumbai in the State of Maharashtra; And whereas, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the said Act read with Rule 8 of the Special Economic Zone Rules 2006 , has notified an area of 20.654 hectares at above Special Economic Zone vide the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification Number S.O.965(E) dated 13th June, 2007 ; And whereas M/s .K.Raheja Universal Private Limited has proposed for de-notification of an area of 10.13 hectares from the above Special Economic Zone and the central Government after considering the said proposal has approved and conveyed it on 25 th June, 2009; And whereas, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-Section (8) of section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of Rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 , the Central Government hereby denotifies an area of 10.13 hectares, thereby making resultant area as 10.52 hectares at above Special Economic Zone, comprising of the survey numbers and the area given below in the table, namely:— TABLE Serial No. Name of Village Survey Number Area to be notified(in hectares) (1) (2) (3) (4) 1.
