De-Notification of part of SEZ - A Sector Specific Special Economic Zone for Biotechnology Sector at Rakha and Nimoth Villages, Tehsil-Sohna, District-Gurgaon - Haryana MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi , the 6th January, 2010 S.O. 26 (E). - Whereas M/s. Mayar Infrastructure Development Private Limited, has proposed under Section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the Act ) to set up a Sector Specific Special Economic Zone for Biotechnology Sector at Rakha and Nimoth Villages, Tehsil-Sohna, District-Gurgaon in the State of Haryana; And whereas the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Act read with Rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006 , has notified a total area of 12.4928 hectares at Rakha and Nimoth Villages, Tehsil-Sohna, District-Gurgaon in the State of Haryana as Special Economic Zone in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification No.S.O.2174 (E), dated 9th September, 2008 ; And whereas M/s. Mayar Infrastructure Development Private Limited has proposed to include additional area of 2.59 hectares at Gurgaon, Haryana as a part of that Special Economic Zone; And whereas the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of Section 3 of the Act and other related requirements are fulfilled and it has granted letter of approval under sub-section (10) of Section 3 of the Act for development and operation of the sector specific Special Economic Zone for biotechnology sector at the said villages on 13th November, 2009; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Special Economic Zone Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) and in pursuance of Rule 8 of the Special Economic Zone Rules, 2006 , the Central Government hereby notifies an additional area of 2.59 hectares at Rakha and Nimoth villages, Tehsil-Sohna, District-Gurgaon in the State of Haryana, and makes the following amendment in the above notification, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, namely: — In the said notification, the table shall be substituted by the following Table: TABLE Sl.
