Amendments in Notification No. 44 /2009-14 dated 21.5.2010. TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY PART II SECTION 3, SUB SECTION (ii) GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE INDUSTRY DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE NOTIFICATION NO. 46/2009-14 NEW DELHI , DATED 24th MAY, 2010 S.O. (E) In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development Regulation) Act, 1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with Para 1.3 and 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-14 , and also read with Notification No. 26 (RE-2008)/2004-09 dated 22.7.2008 , the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in Notification No. 44 /2009-14 dated 21.5.2010 . 2. With immediate effect, Para 2.1 is inserted at the end of Para 2 of the Notification No. 44 /2009-14 dated 21.5.2010 , as follows: "2.1 Transitional arrangements allowed under Para 1.5 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-2014 , shall, in public interest, not be applicable to the restrictions imposed as above vide this notification." 3.
