Setting up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for Free Trade and Warehousing Zone at Village Sai, Taluka Panvel, District Raiged - Maharashtra - De-notification of certain area notified vide Notification numbers S.O. 1158(E), dated 4th May 2009 and S.O. 757(E), dated 5th April, 2010 MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi , the 22nd July. 2010 S.O. 1800(E).- Where as M/s. Arshiya International Limited, a private organization in the State of Maharashtra, has proposed under Section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the said Act ), to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for Free Trade and Warehousing Zone at Village Sai, Taluka Panvel, District Raiged in the State of 'Maharashtra; And whereas, the Central Government was satisfied that requirements under sub-section (8) of Section 3 of the said Act , and other related requirements are fulfilled and it had granted Letter of approval under sub-section (10) of Section 3 of the said Act for an area of 68 hectares for development, operation ant maintenance of the above sector specific Special Economic Zone on the 27th February, 2009; And whereas, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) Section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 , had notified the area of 45.76 hectares and 6.985 hectares at above Special Economic Zone vide Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification numbers S.O. 1158(E), dated 4th May 2009 and S.O. 757(E), dated 5th April, 2010 respectively; And whereas, M/s, Arshiya International Limited has now proposed to include an area of 0.890 hectares, out of the remaining area, in the said Special Economic Zone; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of Rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 , the Central Government hereby notifies an area of 0.890 hectares as part of the above Special Economic Zone, thereby making total area of the Special Economic Zone as 53.635 hectares, comprising of the survey numbers and the area given below in the Table, namely:- TABLE Sl.
