Setting up a sector specific SEZ for information technology and information technology enabled services at Hi-tech City, Madhapur, Ranga Reddy District - Andhra Pradesh - Denotification of certain area notified vide Notification No. S.O. 1770(E), dated 16-10-2006 Dated 6-8-2010 S.O. 1928(E).- Whereas, M/s. Sundew Properties Private Limited (Formerly, M/s. K. Raheja IT Park, Hyderabad Private Limtied), a private organisation in the State of Andhra Pradesh, had proposed under Section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the said Act ) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services at Hi-tech City, Madhapur, Ranga Reddy District in the State of Andhra Pradesh; And whereas, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zone Rules, 2006, had notified the area of 16.29 hectares at above Special Economic Zone vide the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification Number S.0.1770(E) dated 16th October, 2006; And whereas, M/s. Sundew Properties Private Limited has proposed for de-notification of an area of 1.82 hectares from the above Special Economic Zone and the Central Government after considering the said proposal has approved and conveyed it on 19th February, 2010; And whereas, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of Section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled; Now therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 , the Central Government hereby denotifies an area of 1.82 hectares, thereby making resultant area as 14.47 hectares at above Special Economic Zone, comprising of the survey numbers and the area given below in the Table, namely :- Serial No. Name of the location Survey Number Area originally notified (in hectares) Area to be denotified (in hectares) New area of the SEZ (in hectares) (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6) 1.
