S.O. (E) In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of Foreign Trade (Development Regulation) Act, 1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with Para 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-2014, the Central Government hereby makes, the following addition with immediate effect at the end of Paragraph No. 2 of Notification No. 33(RE-2007)/2004-2009, dated 08.10.2007, as amended from time to time (pertaining to prohibition on export of wheat and wheat products). 2. In Notification No. 33(RE-2007)/2004-2009, dated 08.10.2007, sub para 2.10 was added on 12.05.2010 vide Notification No. 40/2009-14. Now another sub-para 2.11 is added as under: 2 [ 2.11 The prohibition imposed by Notification No. 33(RE-2007)/2004-2009 , dated 08.10.2007 on export of wheat shall not be applicable to export of 2,50,000 MT of wheat to Afghanistan through Food Corporation of India. ] 1 [ 2.12 The prohibition imposed by Notification No. 33(RE-2007)/2004-2009 , dated 08.10.2007 on export of wheat products shall not be applicable to export of the following quantities of wheat flour to Maldives through the PSUs indicated below: Item Year Quantity in MTs Name of PSU Wheat Flour 2011-12 32,095 MMTC Ltd 2012-13 35,304 MMTC Ltd 2013-14 38,835 MMTC Ltd 3. 2 [ This quantity shall be exported by Food Corporation of India out of the Central Pool stock during the Financial Year 2011-12 i.e. upto 31.03.2012. ] 4. Effect of this notification: The export of 1,00,000 MTs of wheat to Afghanistan, as a donation from Government of India to the Government of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan will be permitted for export through FCI. upto 31.03.2011. MMTC Ltd. 2. Substituted vide Notification No. 44 (RE-2010)/2009-2014, dated 02/05/2011, before it was read as:- This quantity shall be exported by Food Corporation of India out of the Central Pool stock during the Financial Year 2010-11 i.e. upto 31.03.2011. before it was read as;- 2.11The prohibition imposed by Notification No. 33(RE-2007)/2004-2009, dated 08.10.2007 on export of wheat shall not be applicable to export of 1,00,000 MT of wheat to Afghanistan through Food Corporation of India.
